FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is NFTeria?
NFTeria is an independent builder. Its current product is UNICA, and UNICA's code is public in the UNICA repository.
What is UNICA?
Pay in ETH. The merchant receives USDC. UNICA is an MIT-licensed settlement hook and modular integration layer for Uniswap v4, designed for applications and other ecosystems to extend. A payer pays in one currency, a recipient receives another, atomically, through Uniswap's official Universal Router, into a pool whose hook admits a swap only on that path and only for a registered order, with a versioned receipt event.
Is UNICA live?
On a testnet, yes. UNICA V1 and UNICA V3 are live on Ethereum Sepolia, each with at least one settlement you can open on Etherscan. V3 is also deployed on Unichain, Base and Arbitrum Sepolia, where it has settled nothing. The UNICA releases page lists every release at the rung it has actually reached.
Can I use UNICA with real money?
No. Testnet only. There is no mainnet deployment and no real value at risk.
Has UNICA been audited?
No part of UNICA has been audited. V2 is written and frozen as rc1. It is not shipped. Release is blocked pending remediation and re-review of an internally identified Critical finding, published as Security Advisory 001.
Who has paid through UNICA?
NFTeria does not claim that any outside customer has paid through UNICA.
Is UNICA made by, or affiliated with, Uniswap?
No. NFTeria is an independent builder. UNICA is not commissioned by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by Uniswap or any other ecosystem named here. UNICA is built on Uniswap v4 and uses Uniswap's official Universal Router as published.
What is the difference between UNICA v4 and Uniswap v4?
Uniswap v4 is the AMM that UNICA is built on. UNICA v4 is
the name of the next UNICA release. It is being designed now, and it
is not built or deployed. Unreleased groundwork for it sits on the
repository's unicaV4 branch.
Does NFTeria hold merchants' money?
NFTeria does not operate a custodial merchant account. In a UNICA settlement the payer pays and the merchant receives in one atomic transaction.
What does a UNICA receipt prove?
The receipt proves that the order it names was paid through the official router by the executor, and that the recipient's balance grew by at least the minimum in the same transaction. It does not prove the price the payer would have got elsewhere.
Does UNICA support tokenized equity?
No tokenized equity is supported. One experimental order ran on Robinhood Chain testnet with a faucet TSLA test token with no real-world value, which is not a share or a security; uTUSD, the token it paid out, has no value. The details and caveats are on the UNICA releases page.
What happened to the NFT plans and the sign-up form?
Earlier versions of this site listed NFT plans with prices and had a sign-up form that sent nothing anywhere. Both have been removed. NFTeria's current work is UNICA.
How do I report a vulnerability?
Report a vulnerability in a GitHub issue if it is already public, or by email to dev@nfteria.click if it is not. There is no bug bounty.
How do I contact NFTeria?
